The following are some reflections.
In the last 10 years, I made about 2,600 Round trips to and from work. At 50 miles per round trip, that's 130,000 miles, and about 108 days of my life driving.
In the last 10 years, I used about 7,500 gallons of gas getting to and from work, and spent about $21,000 in fuel.
In the last 10 years, I've had two paternity breaks, and one of my kids is still young enough to assume that when we go to a store, he's going to my work.
In the last 10 years, I bet I had about 500 sandwiches and about 500 pizzas at the cafeteria.
Please don't add up the cost, I just have a hard time with left-overs, that's all.
In the last 10 years, my hair line went from Bruce Willis circa Armageddon to Bruce Willis circa Die Hard 7:

In the last 10 years, I am proud to say I never spent one dollar on coffee at work.
In the last 10 years, I met hundreds of amazing people at all levels who helped me along the way, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
In the last 10 years, I did some work I'm really proud of, including launching Geek Squad Black Tie Protection.
In the last 10 years, I worked on an in-theater campaign called Silence is Golden, remember this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SS8LWd9yv6c
In the last 10 years, the Silence is Golden project also resulted in one of the top viral videos of 07' called "Cheerleader toss" that I'll settle the debate on right now...we faked it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1Bt4kqOgBc
In the last 10 years, I also launched and ran Best Buy's @twelpforce twitter based customer service program program: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbkS8AnqNGU
In the last 10 years, I also launched a couple holiday campaigns like "Wrap up the WOW": http://vimeo.com/59427928
In the last 10 years, I was able to help get our @bbyopen API platform business off the ground and running.
Thanks Best Buy, I've enjoyed the ride, you've been good to my family and I and wish all of you the best!
Respectfully,
John Bernier
